| DUAL Acting Pumps - Power Up/POWER Down |
Dual acting pumps use the motor to pump fluid out two hoses. While fluid is pumped into the bottom of a cylinder a valve is opened that allows the fluid in the top of the cylinder to flow back into the reservoir. This extends the piston (UP). To compress the piston (DOWN), Fluid is pumped into the hose going to the top of the cylinder and a valve opens to allow fluid in the bottom of the cylinder to flow back into the reservoir. We recommend Dexron ATF as a fluid. Do not overfill or the fluid will go out the cap which is also a vent.
Dual acting pumps use a 4 wire remote. Order our R2 for a wired remote or R3 if you want a wireless (let us know its for a dual acting so we can configure it properly). You will receive a small rebate if ordered the same day as a pump. FALCON pumps all come with Wired Remotes & Wireless Remotes (except D1 & D2 which have a wired remote only). MONARCH pumps come with a wired remote. You can order an Able Wireless Remote (R3) on the same day for only $69.
